Maxar Intelligence <\/b>has named former Google <\/b>and Apple<\/b> executive Arvind Srinivasan as the company\u2019s new chief technology officer. <\/p>\n
At Google, Srinivasan oversaw the commercialization of the Google Maps Engine cloud platform, integrating analytics with geospatial data. More recently, he oversaw large-scale infrastructure systems at Meta and Apple, including Apple\u2019s Cloud Storage technology stack, and end-to-end encryption for Meta\u2019s Messenger and Instagram\u2019s direct messaging platforms.<\/p>\n
At Maxar Intelligence, Srinivasan will be responsible for the company\u2019s technology strategy including developing scalable geospatial intelligence solutions and digital platforms. CEO Dan Smoot commented that Srinivasan will help the company scale Maxar Geospatial Platform (MGP) and evolve 3D and analytics capabilities.<\/p>\n

Maxar Intelligence is building out its leadership team after Maxar Intelligence recently split into two businesses \u2014 Maxar Space Infrastructure and Maxar Intelligence.
