KVH plans to offer LEO connectivity for commercial and leisure vessels.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>KVH said the LEO service will be sold as a standalone offering and as an integrated companion to its TracNet and TracPhone terminals, which are installed on vessels worldwide. The company offers KVH One, a hybrid network with intelligent switching among satellite, cellular, and Wi-Fi networks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAdding Eutelsat OneWeb to our hybrid portfolio helps deliver on our commitment to providing outstanding connectivity, content, and services via our KVH One integrated multi-orbit, multi-channel solution,\u201d said Brent Bruun, KVH president and CEO. \u201cEutelsat OneWeb\u2019s LEO technology will complement, enhance, and extend our KVH One network\u2019s existing hybrid services and enable outstanding low-latency connectivity for mariners worldwide.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is not KVH\u2019s first deal in the LEO arena, the company also integrates SpaceX\u2019s Starlink connectivity into KVH One. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maritime connectivity provider KVH Industries signed a distribution partnership with Eutelsat OneWeb for Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) connectivity, the company announced Tuesday.
