AVS said the mission includes subsystems propulsion technologies and mechanisms that need to be validated in orbit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe welcome AVS to Momentus\u2019 customer roster and look forward to caring for their important payload from integration through orbital delivery,\u201d Momentus CCO Chris Kinman said in the contract announcement. \u201cThe orbital delivery services we provide are enabling better access to space for small satellites, which are a backbone of the space economy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Momentus has been on a three-month contract streak. AVS is the company\u2019s sixth deal since August, with other recent contracts including services for FOSSA, Aarhus, C3S, SatRev, and RIDE!
