As part of the planned development, IHI and ICEYE plan to establish a satellite manufacturing facility in Japan, with satellites to be operated domestically. This initiative is intended to support Japan\u2019s space ambitions of boosting space industries while strengthening national security and resilience. The foundation is still subject to definitive agreements and official approvals.<\/p>\n<div class=\"widget-layout related-content-also-read-box my-3\">\n<h4 class=\"mb-0\">Also Read: What is ADEOS (Advanced Earth Observing Satellite)?<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Rafal Modrzewski<\/strong><strong>, Co-founder &amp; CEO of ICEYE<\/strong>, said: \u201cICEYE has had a close relationship with Japan since 2018, building trust and long-term commitment. The strengthening of the Finland-Japan relationship and technical alliance enhances the security of both nations. By collaborating with Japanese organizations, ICEYE improves its defense capabilities and strengthens shared security. We are dedicated to creating new connections and deepening relationships with all of Japan&#8217;s industry and government organizations.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Atsushi Sato, President of IHI\u2019s Aero Engine, Space &amp; Defense Business Area<\/strong>, said: \u201cToday\u2019s world is increasingly insecure.
