The aircraft will be operated on short and mid-haul flights between Seoul and destinations across Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Viasat is working with hardware provider Safran Passenger Innovations (SPI) to develop the solution required for Korean Air, combining IFC airtime and Safran\u2019s inflight entertainment and connectivity hardware.<\/p>\n<p>This is Korean Air\u2019s first IFC deal. The company said its selection process started in 2018.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was clear that Viasat\u2019s technology was unparalleled and they understood our vision. The new connectivity system will be a fundamental part of our digital strategy and customer experience going forward.
