Less than a week after she announced her departure from Mynaric<\/strong>, Tina Ghataore has a new role in the satellite industry. Ghataore has been appointed as the new group chief strategy and revenue officer of Aerospacelab<\/strong>, as well as the CEO of Aerospace\u2019s new North American branch. Aerospacelab announced the appointment Aug. 7.<\/p>\n

The company, founded in 2018, is an international startup based in Belgium, specialized in designing, manufacturing and operating small satellites. Aerospace offers a versatile satellite platform, giving customers access to space and geospatial intelligence, offering proprietary high-resolution satellite data. The company is vertically integrated, working to \u201cpave the road to an optimized and cost-efficient way to space.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ghataore was named Via Satellite<\/em>\u2019s Satellite Executive of the Year for 2021. She joined Mynaric in 2020 to lead its U.S. subsidiary and head business development across the company.
