The company said it supports a proprietary waveform that enables low and high data rates, ranging from 6 Kbps up to 5 Mbps. It is configurable and can switch between Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) and Geostationary Orbit (GEO) satellites.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe introduction of our Falcon ASIC modem-on-chip marks hiSky\u2019s aim to lead with new technology,\u201d said Moti Litochevski, CTO. \u201cAdditionally, our new modem-on-chip supports our commitment to lower end-user terminal prices, enabling robust adoption of IoT satellite communication in remote industries.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Separately, the FCC has certified hiSky\u2019s Fixed KA terminal, and hiSky now has FCC certification for the entire Smartellite 8X8 terminal family, including the Fixed Ka, Dynamic Ka, Fixed Ku, and Dynamic Ku 8X8 terminals.
