SES Space &amp; Defense will&nbsp; leverage the GovSat-1 satellite and is working with other integrators and satcom and teleport operators.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is a single award BPA through the Defense Information Systems Agency\u2019s (DISA) Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) by the U.S. Space Force. This is the first integration services agreement awarded to SES Space &amp; Defense since it acquired DRS GES by SES in August 2022.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>SES Space &amp; Defense President and CEO David Fields said the BPA is a \u201cfoundation block\u201d in accelerating the integration of milsatcom and commercial satcom.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have partnered with industry-leading X-Band owners and operators as we understand the demand for secure, non-preemptible mission-assured capacity for critical operations.
