Baker as CTO. He will lead the architecture build-out of the company\u2019s commercial satellite constellation focused on the automotive and mobility sector.<\/p>\n<p>Baker has held roles in the past with the European Space Agency, Ball Aerospace, and LeoSat. Most recently, Baker worked with space debris removal company ClearSpace.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>UNIO plans to build Europe\u2019s first commercial constellation of dual-use communications satellites with a focus on enabling new services and products in the automotive and broader mobility sector. UNIO is a joint venture of Isar Aerospace, Reflex Aerospace, Mynaric, and SES, and the company hired Katrin Bacic as CEO earlier this year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Baker said UNIO is building an \u201cinvincible connectivity backbone of Europe in space.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince watching the Moon landing as a boy, I dreamt of being an astronaut.
