The agreement includes access to Spire\u2019s daily Flight Report, which aggregates satellite and terrestrial ADS-B positions to provide flight, aircraft, and airline metadata.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Flight Report detects both scheduled and unscheduled flights in real-time, including in remote regions without traditional radar systems. ch-aviation plans to integrate Spire\u2019s satellite data into its online platform and data feeds to provide its customer with insights on items like aircraft utilization, post-departure passenger capacity, and tracking wet-lease contracts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCombining ch-aviation\u2019s extensive fleet data with Spire Global\u2019s satellite-based ADS-B data will create a wide range of immediately actionable insights, updated daily,\u201d said Thomas Jaeger, founder and CEO of ch-aviation. \u201cIt will allow MRO providers to track aircraft maintained by competitors, lessors to monitor their assets, airlines to benchmark their operational performance relative to competitors, and charter brokers to see which contracts they missed out on.\u201d <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Airline industry platform ch-aviation has a new long-term agreement with Spire Global for global flight analytics and insights, Spire announced April 6.
