LeoLabs offers space traffic management software and operates a ground radar network, and ClearSpace is working on active debris removal technology.<\/p>\n<p>The companies announced April 3 they plan to work together on leadership to promote space safety, as well as business opportunities that promote their services and programs. The companies also exchanged advisory board appointments, with LeoLabs\u2019 Dr. Darren McKnight joining ClearSpace\u2019s advisory board and Dr. Timothy Maclay from ClearSpace becoming a member of LeoLabs\u2019 commercial strategic advisory board.<\/p>\n<p>ClearSpace CEO Luc Piguet commented that by working together, the companies can comprehensively address the challenges of space safety and sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs the traffic in low Earth orbit grows, innovative, scalable solutions are needed, including active debris removal technologies and in-orbit servicing,\u201d said LeoLabs CEO Dan Ceperley. \u201cClearSpace is an industry leader in both, and we\u2019re proud to kick off partnering with them to build a safer, more sustainable future in space.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two space sustainability companies, LeoLabs and ClearSpace, have signed an MoU to work together toward a sustainable space ecosystem.
