The teleport has redundant internet connection and fiber connectivity to the main data centers in Rio and S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n<p>The OneWeb Gateway operates with 15 antennas, and a redundant data center in the same location. The Gateway will be part of OneWeb\u2019s LATAM ground system to deliver broadband with low-latency and high-security communications for government institutions, defense, oil and gas and aviation industries, as well as for mobile network companies bringing 3G, 4G, and 5G to all parts of Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>Government and industry officials and several political and military authorities attended the ribbon cutting ceremony.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe inauguration of the Marica Teleport is a key piece in Telespazio\u2019s global strategy on ground segment.
