The company said these offerings give smaller companies of under 1,000 employees similar resources to large enterprises. The offering includes managed detection and response (MDR) and security operations centers (SOC) as a service.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSmall and medium-sized enterprises are at increasing risk of cyberattacks like phishing, malware and ransomware \u2013 just as large enterprises are \u2013 but they typically don\u2019t have the in-house expertise to mitigate these threats,\u201d said Dan Rasmussen, senior vice president of Hughes Enterprise Division. \u201cOur managed security services put enterprise-grade protection into the hands of smaller businesses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hughes said it works to plug the gaps traditional cybersecurity vendors do not, across every transport type from satellite, cellular, to microwave.
