Petrobras is a state-owned Brazilian multinational corporation in the oil, gas, energy industry.&nbsp;Terms of the deal were not disclosed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Telstar 19 Vantage is located at 63 degrees West over Brazil. Telesat announced the deal Tuesday and said the satellite\u2019s design helped Sencinet win the Petrobras connectivity network contract. A Ku-band spot beam will provide very high throughputs at a lower cost-per-bit in the Brazilian Pre-salt oil region, where the greatest concentration of Petrobras\u2019 data traffic occurs.
