Axess Networks <\/b>rolled out ST Engineering iDirect<\/b>\u2019s Mx-DMA MRC technology to support cellular backhaul networks in Colombia, and plans to expand the deployment in Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico and Chile. <\/p>\n
ST Engineering iDirect announced Oct. 4 that initial rollout took place in Colombia, and longtime customer Axess migrated its first four MNO networks to Mx-DMA MRC. The company now plans to expand its solutions to operate corporate and cellular backhaul networks in Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico and Chile with Mx-DMA MRC technology. This will bring the total to seven high-capacity networks on the return technology and more than 2 Gbps.<\/p>\n
Mx-DMA MRC is a patented multi-access waveform that incorporates MF-TDMA and SCPC into a single return technology. Germ\u00e1n P\u00e9rez, director of Product and Business Development at Axess said the technology helped Axess improve the scale and versatility of its network design and reach new backhaul markets. <\/p>\n
