Intelsat announced the deal for IGC partner <b>Telecom International<\/b> on Wednesday.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>FlexAir will provide the FBI with situational awareness and command, control, and communication. This solution delivers preflight, in-route transit, and on-station data, voice, and video communication capabilities. It uses Intelsat\u2019s Geostationary Orbit (GEO) satellite fleet, combining Ku-band HTS coverage with wide and spot beams.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Telecom International is a service provider that supports the U.S. government with comsatcom for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) programs. In addition, IGC FlexAir partner Satcom Direct (SD) Government will provide service delivery for the contract.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIGC is committed to delivering a high-performance managed service to all types of government aero users,\u201d said IGC President, Dave Micha. \u201cWe understand government missions require unwavering service, in the toughest of environments and on non-negotiable deadlines.
