{"id":54906,"date":"2022-08-17T01:58:37","date_gmt":"2022-08-16T17:58:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp-productionenv-bjg9h2g2bgg5b8aa.southeastasia-01.azurewebsites.net\/news\/difi-industry-group-releases-updated-interoperability-standard\/"},"modified":"2022-08-17T01:58:37","modified_gmt":"2022-08-16T17:58:37","slug":"difi-industry-group-releases-updated-interoperability-standard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/starpath.global\/news\/difi-industry-group-releases-updated-interoperability-standard\/","title":{"rendered":"DIFI Industry Group Releases Updated Interoperability Standard"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>DIFI Consortium<\/strong> has released an updated version of its interoperability standard, which the group says makes a path for interoperability at the digital interface\/radio frequency (IF\/RF) layer.<\/p>\n<p>The standard announced Aug. 15 is labeled IEEE-ISTO Std 4900-2021: Digital IF Interoperability 1.1 Standard and is a \u201csignificant step forward in the maturity of the specification.\u201d This milestone was part of the group\u2019s goals for 2022 after it released version 1.0 last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe broad support for the DIFI organization across the industry and the effort put forth by the members into the release of the 1.1 version of the specification is a testament to the importance that the industry places on the need for interoperability and digital transformation.\u201d commented Stuart Daughtridge, Chairman of DIFI and senior vice president of Advanced Technology at Kratos.<\/p>\n<p>DIFI was formed in August 2021 to advance interoperability in satellite and ground system networks and consolidated with another industry group in December 2021.
