The Israeli satellite operator announced May 12 that a superyacht communication provider will use Ka-band capacity on its AMOS-17 satellite.<\/p>\n<p>Spacecom\u2019s decision to broaden the diversity of services into maritime connectivity is another step in evolving the company\u2019s overall strategic direction by supplying a variety of solutions to new sectors. AMOS-17, its most recent addition, is a fully digital and high throughput satellite (HTS) expanding the operator\u2019s reach over Africa, Middle East, the Indian Ocean, and Asia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChoosing Spacecom\u2019s solution is a testament to the company and AMOS-17\u2019s advanced capabilities.
