Bill Gates led the funding, with participation from <b>Hanwha Systems<\/b> and other investors.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bill Gates first invested in Kymeta in 2012, and South Korean defense company Hanwha Systems first invested in 2020.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The satellite antenna company said this investment will be used to accelerate the production of its electronically-steered flat panel technology. Kymeta said it will be able to expand its manufacturing capacity to meet increasing customer demand and evolve the u8 product line in the Ku-band.
