For comparison, <b>Rocket Lab<\/b> went public with a $4.1 billion valuation, and <b>Virgin Orbit<\/b> is in the process of going public with a $3.2 billion valuation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This brings ABL\u2019s total funding to $420 million. The Series B round was first announced in March 2021, at $170 million.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The company said existing investors participated in the round. ABL\u2019s investors include funds and accounts advised by <strong>T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc.<\/strong> and <strong>Fidelity Management &amp; Resea<\/strong><strong>rch LLC<\/strong>. <b>Lockheed Martin<\/b> is a strategic investor and purchased a block of 58&nbsp; launches through 2029 in April of this year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ABL said the funding will be used to scale production of the RS1 launch vehicle and to conduct research and development of future systems.
