This milestone follows SpaceChain\u2019s in-space demonstration of Bitcoin technology back in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Once installed, tested and activated, SpaceChain will allow customers to use the payload for enterprise business transactions and fintech applications. <strong>Nexus Inc.<\/strong>, a digital asset management firm with offices in Melbourne, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore, will be the first SpaceChain customer to have direct access to the blockchain service.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled in bringing the Ethereum platform to space and validating why a decentralized satellite infrastructure created with space technologies is vital to realizing the full potential of blockchain applications,\u201d said SpaceChain Co-Founder and CEO Zee Zheng. \u201cWe launched a payload for bitcoin back in 2019 and today we are launching our second-generation payload with Ethereum. Bitcoin and Ethereum represent the two biggest ecosystems in the blockchain industry.
