Maxar announced April 29 that it has appointed Johnson as senior vice president of SPD.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At Maxar, Johnson will oversee design, manufacturing, integration, test, and delivery for the company\u2019s portfolio of space platforms and space robotics systems. Johnson succeeds Paul Estey, who has led SPD on an interim basis since the end of January this year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In his time at Boeing, Chris was responsible for strategy, capture, development, and manufacturing of Boeing\u2019s commercial satellite business.
