Jon Campagna, the former CFO of <strong>Virgin Galactic<\/strong>, will be joining Capella\u2019s executive team along with Julie Ambory as VP of People and Nate Ricklin as VP of Product Engineering.<\/p>\n<p>Campagna has over 20 years of experience at both public and private companies, including <strong>Ericsson<\/strong> and <strong>ICON Aircraft<\/strong>. As CFO of Virgin Galactic, he led its transition to a public company via a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) merger in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Julie Ambory held HR leadership positions across multiple industries and organizations, including <strong>Medtronic<\/strong>,<strong> First Data Corporation<\/strong>, <strong>Bank of America<\/strong>,<strong> Motorola<\/strong>, and <strong>Honeywell<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Nate Ricklin will lead the architecture, development, and execution of Capella\u2019s Earth Observation products and services. He previously served at <strong>Arturo.ai<\/strong>,<strong> EarthWatch<\/strong>,<strong> SecureWatch<\/strong>, and <strong>Maxar Technologies<\/strong>, where he led engineering for GBDX, a cloud-based platform-as-a-service that applies artificial intelligence to satellite imagery.<\/p>\n<p>Capella is currently building and launching a constellation of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery satellites providing high-resolution imagery and data on demand.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Earth Observation (EO) data company Capella Space has hired its first CFO.
