AWS is the 27th strategic-level member of USGIF and joins fellow members <strong>The Boeing Company<\/strong>, <strong>Maxar Technologies<\/strong>, and <strong>L3Harris Technologies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>USGIF is a nonprofit educational foundation that works to promote geospatial intelligence and the GEOINT community among government, industry, and academia. The group said that geospatial customers benefit AWS cloud platform, which frees them from having to purchase, maintain, and operate their own servers and data centers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHaving AWS join the foundation as a strategic-level member is truly a big deal for us,\u201d commented Ronda Schrenk, USGIF CEO. \u201cThey bring a unique perspective and wealth of knowledge to our community and organization.
