The companies began working together in October 2020, and announced the collaboration on Thursday.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Amartus has network and cloud automation software expertise and contributes to standards bodies including <strong>TM Forum<\/strong> (TMF) and MEF. The company said that SES looked to it for support in TMF and MEF telecommunication standards and the partnership has evolved into more advanced projects applying Amartus\u2019 expertise to O3b mPOWER to make it compliant with industry standards and best practices.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot only do we get to work with the SES team in defining the interfaces part of the O3b mPOWER automation solution, but we are also contributing to its implementation,\u201d commented Amartus CEO Marcin Paszkiewicz.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>O3b mPOWER, SES\u2019s next-generation constellation of 11 satellites in Medium-Earth Orbit (MEO), is set to be operational in 2022.
