The Frankfurt, Germany-based space Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) company is under a rideshare contract with <strong>Spaceflight Inc.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Satellite developer <strong>ISISpace<\/strong> conducted the tests on the KSF1 satellites for Kleos in the Netherlands. The satellites will now enter the assembly and verification phase before heading off for final integration, testing and delivery. Once launched, the KSF1 satellites will head to a 500-600 km Sun Synchronous Orbit (SSO), where they will detect and geolocate radio frequency transmissions to provide global activity-based intelligence for government and commercial customers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEntering the assembly and verification phase of the satellites is a crucial developmental milestone and ensures we are on schedule to launch in mid-2021. The KSF1 satellite cluster will complement our Scouting Mission satellites, improving the value of our geolocation maritime intelligence data,\u201d Kleos Space CEO Andy Bowyer said in a company statement.<\/p>\n<p>Kleos Space launched its first batch of KSM1 satellites in November aboard India\u2019s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV).
