L3Harris Technologies<\/b> is the latest company to join the GPS Innovation Alliance <\/b>(GPSIA), an industry group that advocates for the promotion, protection and enhancement of GPS in the U.S. and around the world.<\/p>\n
L3Harris has played a key role in GPS, and has provided navigation technology for every U.S. GPS satellite ever launched. The company is developing 10 GPS III satellite navigation payloads for the U.S. Air Force<\/b>\u2019s GPS III satellite program, four of which are already operational. The company will also provide navigation payloads with fully digital Mission Data Units (MDU) for the U.S. Air Force\u2019s GPS III Follow-On (GPS IIIF) satellites.<\/p>\n
