The company announced Thursday that it had formed a new subsidiary, <strong>SSC Space Thailand<\/strong>, targeted at the Asian-Pacific market, with an aim to expand the company\u2019s presence in the region.<\/p>\n<p>The new subsidiary will offer SSC\u2019s services, ranging from launch services to ground station networks and engineering services. With new offices being installed in the Space Krenovation Park, part of the EEC Digital Park in Chonburi province, SSC becomes the first international space company to invest in Thailand\u2019s Eastern Economic Corridor. The investment is another step for the company after it recently announced plans for new launch capabilities in Europe. SSC plans to launch small satellites into orbit by the end of 2022 from its space center Esrange, in northern Sweden.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Asian-Pacific space market is growing rapidly, and today\u2019s announcement highlights our ambition to be a leading force in that development.
