Kerner is part of the NASA Harvest program and an assistant research professor at University of Maryland, College Park.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Both are former guests on the On Orbit podcast. In the episode \u201cPropulsion in Space While Moving Forward on Earth,\u201d Butler-Craig talked about her journey in the space industry, the smallsat renaissance, and the importance of tackling racism in STEM. And in the episode \u201cHarvest Hub: Food Security from Space,\u201d Kerner shared how NASA Harvest program uses satellite data to make decisions related to food security and agriculture, and the real-life implications of the work.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The list also included space scientists Carl E.
