Paratus South Africa has contracted services to provide connectivity for remote regions and maritime and aeronautical markets, the company said. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAMOS-17\u2019s unique performance and capabilities, highly flexible service architecture, combined with its central position over Africa provide an excellent solution to the growing digital needs in Africa,\u201d Kallie Carlsen, Paratus South Africa managing director, commented in a news release.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>AMOS-17 provides C-band High Throughput Satellite (HTS) coverage, and Ka- and Ku-band, and supports services over Africa, the Middle East, Europe, India, and China.
