This new continuation contract will modernize C2 by increasing the speed, accuracy, and relevancy of tracking satellites and space debris.<\/p>\n<div class=\"widget-layout related-content-also-read-box my-3\">\n<h4 class=\"mb-0\">Also Read: What is Space Situational Awareness (SSA)?<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe recognize Space Domain Awareness is critical to the Space Force and is essential to defending vital national interests,\u201d said <strong>Ed Zoiss<\/strong><strong>, President, Space and Airborne Systems, L3Harris<\/strong>. \u201cOur work on the ATLAS program will enhance space operations and help prevent adversaries from disrupting, degrading, and destroying U.S. space capabilities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The ATLAS modernization will improve the Space Force\u2019s ability to avoid operational surprise and ensure warfighters can quickly and accurately respond to emerging anti-satellite threats.
