This multi-year contract will allow Kabelio to launch a service targeting Swiss audiences both at home and throughout Europe. In September, <strong>Sky Italia<\/strong> renewed its capacity contract at Eutelsat\u2019s Hotbird position, representing a secured backlog of about $532 million (450 million euros).<\/p>\n<p>Launched mid-October, Kabelio\u2019s new line-up features both domestic and international channels, and includes 34 TV channels in HD including entertainment, sport, news, and documentaries, supplemented by a range of free-to-air channels in various European languages.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the contract, Eutelsat Vice President of Sales, DACH, CE, and SE Europe Apostolos Triantafyllou Eutelsat said: \u201cWe are delighted to welcome Kabelio aboard Hotbird and to support the launch of a new HD platform in Europe.
