Kongsberg will also be manufacturing and testing electronics, as part of the agreement.<\/p>\n<p>Thuraya 4-NGS is a new mobile communication satellite being built by <strong>Airbus Defence and Space<\/strong>. In August, <strong>Yahsat<\/strong> chose Airbus as the manufacturer.&nbsp;The satellite aims to deliver higher capabilities and flexibility while increasing capacity and coverage across Europe, Africa, Central Asia, and the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p>Kongsberg will deliver integrated L-band pre- and post-processors. The L-band processors are Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW)-based, and the development is supported by <strong>European Space Agency<\/strong> (ESA) and the <strong>Norwegian Space Agency<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to be a trusted partner to Airbus Defence and Space.
