The business is headquartered in Danbury, Connecticut, and will be renamed <b>Danbury Mission Technologies<\/b> (Danbury). Danbury was previously a division of Raytheon Technologies\u2019 Collins Aerospace unit.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Larry Hill, CEO of AMERGINT Technology Holdings said in the Tuesday release that Danbury is known for designing, developing, and producing optical systems for Earth Observation (EO) applications and supporting national security space programs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Raytheon Technologies was required by the U.S. government to divest the Connecticut precision-optics business under terms permitting the merger of the former <b>Raytheon<\/b> and <b>United Technologies<\/b>. When the deal was first announced in April, AMERGINT said the company\u2019s senior management will stay on. Andreas Nonnenmacher, president of Danbury Mission Technologies will concurrently assume responsibilities as president of ATH.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJoining a leading provider of software-defined technology for military, intelligence and commercial applications, Danbury becomes a key part of a greater force that will create some of the most exciting and potentially game-changing opportunities ever seen for advancing U.S. capabilities,\u201d Nonnenmacher commented.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>AMERGINT also recently acquired <b>Tethers Unlimited, Inc.<\/b> (TUI), in May.
