The Seattle-based manufacturer said that buses would be, \u201cnearly identical in design to the LeoStella satellite bus product line it has developed for other customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Loft Orbital\u2019s upcoming missions YAM satellite missions include a demonstration for the <strong>U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency<\/strong>\u2019s (DARPA) Blackjack program, multiple IoT payloads for <strong>Eutelsat<\/strong>, and a hyperspectral imager for the <strong>United Arab Emirates government<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLoft\u2019s innovative approach to payload configuration coupled with LeoStella\u2019s rapid manufacturing of high-quality satellites reduces the barrier of access to space,\u201d LeoStella CTO Brian Rider said in a statement. \u201cWe are excited about this program with Loft as it demonstrates our ability to minimize the cost and reduce the time required to manufacture satellites.
