This contract includes three 5-year renewal periods for a potential contract term of 20 years. Federal, state, and local governments will be able to access RigNet\u2019s global networking solutions, enhanced cybersecurity, military-grade hardware encryption and machine learning applications.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, RigNet has also instituted the 171 practices to meet Level 5 under the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), which is designed to assure the <b>U.S. Department of Defense <\/b>(DoD) that a federal contractor can protect controlled unclassified information at a level commensurate with the risk.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven unclassified government communications are sensitive,\u201d said retired <strong>U.S. Navy<\/strong> Rear Adm.
