Operating under the name<strong> Hughes do Brasil<\/strong>, the new venture combines Hughes\u2019 experience delivering satellite networks and services in Brazil with Yahsat\u2019s capabilities in the region.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to services over the Hughes 65 degrees West and Hughes 63 degrees West satellites, Hughes do Brasil now offers services over Yahsat\u2019s Al Yah 3 Ka-band satellite. The company will deploy additional Jupiter System ground network technology to deliver services over the Yahsat satellite across the country.<\/p>\n<p>Hughes owns 80 percent of Hughes do Brasil, and Yahsat owns 20 percent.
