First kinetic energy flight tests are expected to occur early 2020 and the company has announced its plans for first launch by 2022.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpinLaunch fills this gap by providing dedicated orbital launch with high frequency at a magnitude lower cost than any current \u2018niche\u2019 launch system,\u201d stated Yaney. \u201cThis will truly be a disruptive enabler for the emerging commercial space industry.
