Beijing\u2019s lunar feat represents the latest development in the space race between China and the United States \u2014 a conflict that will be \u201cimportant to modern warfare,\u201d according to a <strong>U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency<\/strong> report released in January that identified China as a \u201cthreat\u201d.
