The in-flight Wi-Fi service will leverage the ViaSat-2 satellite to bring internet to El Al routes flying to and from major North American cities. Flights to these destinations will begin in May and June 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the Viasat in-flight Wi-Fi service is available on the airlines\u2019 eight new <strong>Boeing<\/strong> 787 Dreamliners, eight Boeing 737-900 aircraft and two Boeing 737-800 aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are well aware of our customers\u2019 needs and interests in having an onboard reliable Wi-Fi system,\u201d said&nbsp;El Al Israel Airlines Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Gonen Usishkin. \u201cWe are proud to present the best in-flight Wi-Fi product \u2014 delivered by our partner Viasat \u2014 that will enable connectivity for our passengers flying from Israel to North American destinations.
