The contract was received during Comtech\u2019s second quarter of fiscal 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The NGJ system aims to augment, and ultimately replace the EA-18G Growler aircraft\u2019s legacy ALQ-99 Tactical Jammer System with airborne electronic attack capabilities.&nbsp;Comtech PST is a supplier of broadband, high-power, RF microwave amplifiers and control components for use in applications including defense, radar, medical, satellite communications systems, and instrumentation.<\/p>\n<p>In commenting on this contract award, Fred Kornberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., said, \u201cThis significant award demonstrates Comtech\u2019s strength in developing solid-state, high-power RF amplifier systems for advanced airborne electronic warfare systems.
