Casey brings more than 25 years of leadership experience and subject-matter-expertise. He is also a principal at the investment banking merger and acquisitions firm, <strong>NewCap Partners<\/strong>, and he served as the president of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the <strong>Space and Satellite Professionals International<\/strong> (SSPI).<\/p>\n<p>Casey co-founded two separate business accelerators for NewSpace entrepreneurs including the <strong>New York Space Alliance<\/strong> (NYSA), and the <strong>Silicon Valley Space Center<\/strong> (SVSC), for which he served as its managing director between 2012 and 2017.Prior to his work with the SVSC, Sean served for more than 20 years at the <strong>NASA Goddard Space Flight Center<\/strong> and the<strong> Ames Research Center<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>My role at ATLAS will be to cultivate and curate the wealth of opportunities in NewSpace where ATLAS is perfectly poised to meet or exceed the demand for cost-effective and reliable data and communications services,\u201d Casey said in the release.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Atlas Vice President of Business Development Sean Casey.
