MX1 partnered with&nbsp;German video distribution solutions provider <strong>Smart Mobile Labs (SML)<\/strong> to create the new service.<\/p>\n<p>SML will contribute 5G-ready LTE\/Wi-Fi hotspot technology, as well as its Edge Video Orchestrator (EVO) LTE solution, which allows switching of real-time video streams with low latency. MX1 will provide 150 Mbps of SES satellite bandwidth and its OU Flex solution. Launched in March 2018,&nbsp;&nbsp;OU Flex provides a video distribution and bidirectional IP connectivity solution for broadcasters, live event producers, event organizers and remote operators.&nbsp;&nbsp;The partners said the new integrated OU Flex solution will work despite terrestrial and mobile network congestion, as well as in remote areas to ensure simultaneous OTT streaming, social media update activity and live video feed distribution.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe enhanced the audience experience at a major baseball game with our EVO technology by enabling spectators to use their smartphones or tablets to choose the camera angle from which they\u2019d like to view the game \u2014 whether from the pitcher\u2019s, catcher\u2019s, or cheerleader\u2019s point of view,\u201d said SML CEO Andreas Westhoff. \u201cBy combining our solution into MX1\u2019s OU Flex, we can go further because of satellite\u2019s reliability and reach.
