Liftoff occurred on Sunday, Jul. 22, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.<\/p>\n<p>Telstar 19 Vantage was built by <strong>SSL<\/strong>, a <strong>Maxar Technologies<\/strong> company. Telstar 19 Vantage is the latest in a new generation of Telesat satellites with increased capacity to better serve bandwidth intensive applications. Ku-band coverage of Telstar 19 Vantage includes a Brazil regional beam, North Atlantic regional beam, and HTS spot beams over Brazil and the Andean region. Telstar 19 Vantage Ka-band HTS spot beams cover South America, the Caribbean, the North Atlantic, and Northern Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Telstar 19 Vantage is expected to enter commercial service this summer after it has successfully completed orbit raising and in-orbit testing.
