L3Harris Technologies<\/font><\/font> will provide two key <\/font><\/font>propulsion systems<\/font><\/font> to <\/font><\/font>Northrop Grumman<\/font><\/font> to support the Missile Defense Agency’s Glide Phase Interceptor (GPI) program, a defensive weapon intended to defeat hypersonic glide vehicles.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

L3Harris<\/font><\/font> will provide a large solid rocket motor for first stage boost propulsion and an advanced version to power the third stage of the interceptor missile. <\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Solid rocket motors<\/font><\/font> are one of the many products <\/font><\/font>L3Harris<\/font><\/font> manufactures to support offensive and defensive systems, including <\/font><\/font>air-breathing scramjet engines<\/font><\/font> , <\/font><\/font>divert and attitude control systems<\/font><\/font> , <\/font><\/font>warheads<\/font><\/font> and other missile technologies.<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
