{"id":66453,"date":"2017-12-27T17:30:33","date_gmt":"2017-12-27T09:30:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp-productionenv-bjg9h2g2bgg5b8aa.southeastasia-01.azurewebsites.net\/news\/urthecast-siis-sign-mutual-distribution-agreement\/"},"modified":"2017-12-27T17:30:33","modified_gmt":"2017-12-27T09:30:33","slug":"urthecast-siis-sign-mutual-distribution-agreement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/starpath.global\/news\/urthecast-siis-sign-mutual-distribution-agreement\/","title":{"rendered":"UrtheCast, SIIS Sign Mutual Distribution Agreement"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p><strong>UrtheCast<\/strong> and its subsidiary<strong> Deimos Imaging<\/strong> have signed an agreement with <strong>SI Imaging Services<\/strong> (SIIS) for the mutual global distribution of their respective product portfolios.<\/p>\n<p>Deimos Imaging and SIIS\u2019 space assets include Deimos 1, Deimos 2 and the KompSat series KompSat 2, KompSat 3, KompSat 3A and KompSat 5 \u2014 resulting in a wide portfolio of X-band Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and optical data in a wide range of resolutions, from&nbsp;22 m&nbsp;to&nbsp;0.4 m&nbsp;per pixel.<\/p>\n<p>According to Deimos and SIIS, the combination of radar with very high-resolution optical imagery will allow observation of the Earth day and night, regardless of weather conditions, and is intended to provide a constant asset monitoring service. This is key for a range of applications, especially those requiring frequent monitoring over the same area of interest and real-time response, such as emergency services, border and maritime surveillance, and defense and security.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a great opportunity to broaden our reach and widen our geospatial data distribution options, as we are introducing Deimos Imaging\u2019s imagery to our resellers while presenting KompSat to their networks.
