SpaceX will launch the satellite in the second half of 2019 atop a Falcon 9 rocket.<\/p>\n<p>Kacific 1 will deliver high speed broadband to South East Asia and Pacific regions via 56 narrow Ka-band beams. JCSAT 18 will carry a Ku- and Ka-band payload over Asia-Pacific including Far East Russia, as well as traditional wide-beam capacity over East Asia, to meet demand for mobility, broadband, government and cellular backhaul support.<\/p>\n<p>SkyPerfect JSAT and Kacific ordered the satellite from <strong>Boeing<\/strong> in February.
