{"id":67563,"date":"2017-08-07T21:20:45","date_gmt":"2017-08-07T13:20:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp-productionenv-bjg9h2g2bgg5b8aa.southeastasia-01.azurewebsites.net\/news\/ssl-built-bsat-4a-satellite-arrives-in-french-guiana\/"},"modified":"2017-08-07T21:20:45","modified_gmt":"2017-08-07T13:20:45","slug":"ssl-built-bsat-4a-satellite-arrives-in-french-guiana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/starpath.global\/news\/ssl-built-bsat-4a-satellite-arrives-in-french-guiana\/","title":{"rendered":"SSL-built BSat 4a Satellite Arrives in French Guiana"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p><strong>Space Systems Loral<\/strong> (SSL) has delivered the BSat 4a satellite it designed and built for <strong>Broadcasting Satellite System Corporation<\/strong> (B-SAT), a broadcasting satellite operator in Japan, to the European Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana. <strong>Arianespace<\/strong> will launch the satellite aboard an Ariane 5 launch vehicle, after which it will provide Direct-to-Home (DTH) television services in Japan.<\/p>\n<p>Bsat 4a carries 24 Ku-band transponders and according to B-SAT will expand the availability of advanced television services such as High Definition (HD) and 4K\/8K Ultra-HD.
