As part of the MEOSAR ground system contract, McMurdo will deliver a six-channel Medium-altitude Earth Orbit Local User Terminal (MEOLUT) system, including hardware, installation, systems integration, testing, commissioning, training and program management services.<\/p>\n<p>The contract also includes delivery of McMurdo\u2019s Prisma MCCNet, which provides a complete Cospas-Sarsat commissionable mission control center, and Prisma RCCNet, a command and control platform for search and rescue incidents.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative will deliver Search and Rescue Satellite-aided Tracking (SARSAT) technology to provide accurate, reliable data for search and rescue crews to locate people in distress within minutes, thereby minimizing the time spent in distress conditions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Civil Aviation Authority of&nbsp;Singapore&nbsp;(CAAS) and the Maritime and Port Authority of&nbsp;Singapore&nbsp;(MPA) have selected McMurdo\u2019s Medium-Altitude Earth Orbit Search and Rescue (MEOSAR) ground system to support&nbsp;Singapore&nbsp;search and rescue missions.
