{"id":67688,"date":"2017-07-24T19:58:07","date_gmt":"2017-07-24T11:58:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wp-productionenv-bjg9h2g2bgg5b8aa.southeastasia-01.azurewebsites.net\/news\/ultra-hd-gains-momentum-in-the-us-for-ses\/"},"modified":"2017-07-24T19:58:07","modified_gmt":"2017-07-24T11:58:07","slug":"ultra-hd-gains-momentum-in-the-us-for-ses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/starpath.global\/news\/ultra-hd-gains-momentum-in-the-us-for-ses\/","title":{"rendered":"Ultra-HD Gains Momentum in the US for SES"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p>With an additional nine TV operators joining <strong>SES\u2019<\/strong> Ultra-HD TV trials, a total of 30 U.S. pay-TV providers with a combined audience of more than 10 million subscribers are now testing SES\u2019 4K content delivery platform across their distribution networks.<\/p>\n<p>The latest wave of pay-TV system operators to ink Ultra-HD trial agreements with SES includes <strong>Alliance Communications<\/strong>, an internet, phone and cable TV operator serving subscribers in South Dakota and Minnesota; <strong>Cincinnati Bell<\/strong>, a telco in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky; and <strong>Douglas County Community Network<\/strong>, an ultra-high-speed broadband and IPTV provider in the state of Washington.<\/p>\n<p>Among the 30 operators on SES\u2019 4K platform, three have already initiated commercial linear Ultra HD services in subscriber homes via SES\u2019 end-to-end solution: <strong>Marquette-Adams Communications<\/strong> in Wisconsin, <strong>Highlands Cable Group<\/strong> in North Carolina, and, most recently, <strong>EPB Fiber Optics<\/strong> in Chattanooga, Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p>SES\u2019 Ultra-HD platform combines satellite distribution services, reception gear, and a large 4K Ultra-HD channel line-up, featuring Fashion One 4K, Travelxp 4K, 4KUniverse, NASA TV UHD, Insight TV, UHD1, C4K360, Funbox UHD, Nature Relaxation 4K and SES\u2019s Ultra-HD demonstration channel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With an additional nine TV operators joining SES\u2019 Ultra-HD TV trials, a total of 30 U.S. pay-TV providers with a combined audience of more than 10 million subscribers are now testing SES\u2019 4K content delivery platform across their distribution networks.
